Employees are free to opt out of this benefit if they want to, during the 30-day enrolment window. This can be done on the Benefits Hub on the Remote platform.

To opt out, you can do this on the Benefits Hub in Remote within 30 days of your employment start date:
- On the Remote platform, choose
Benefitsfrom the menu on the left-hand side - Click on the
Kota Link - Click on
Opt Out - Then Click on
Cancel my plan(see below)
Please note that once you click “Cancel my plan,” you will not be able to opt in again, even if there is still time remaining within the 30-day enrollment window. The next opportunity to opt in will be during the next renewal cycle in April each year.
For countries where it is mandatory to offer this benefit, we will automatically enrol employees, but they still have the option to opt-out within 30 days of enrolment.
Important exception: If you are hired in Spain 🇪🇸 , your benefits enrolment will not take place via the Benefits Hub. To opt-out of the benefit, please head to the ThanksBEN platform. Through ThanksBEN, you’ll be able opt out of benefits within 30 days of your start date as part of your enrolment process.
