There are instances where a change in an employee’s personal circumstances can affect an existing employment agreement (EA); thus requiring an EA amendment. Several of such instances where an amendment is required are, but not limited to the following:

  • A change to the employee's nationality, which is mentioned in the EA.
  • A change in address can trigger the need for an EA amendment.
  • Any other changes to the terms of the original agreement.

When it comes to such changes, Remote will treat them on a case-by-case basis as each scenario is different and may not always require an amendment.
