How to compress a file before uploading to Remote

On the Remote platform, we have a 20MB file limit. This means that if the file you're trying to upload is above 20MB, you will be unable to upload it. Instead, you will need to compress it first using a third party application. Once the file size has been reduced to under 20MB, you will be able to upload it to Remote.
