When will I be charged for the contractor subscription fees?

Your billing date is always the 1st of each month. Here's what you can expect based on your plan:

Your Billing Options:

1. Contractor Management (CM) - Pay As You Go

• Monthly fee: $29 per contractor
• When you're billed: On the first business day of each month for the previous month's usage
• No activity? No charges: You won't be charged in months when your contractors don't have any billable activities

2. Contractor Management Plus (CM+) - Fixed Monthly Cost

• Monthly fee: $99 per contractor
• When you're billed: On the first business day of each month for the upcoming month (paid in advance)
• Starting mid-month? Your first bill will include:
  • A prorated charge for the remaining days of your starting month
  • The full monthly fee for the following month
• Always billed: You'll be charged each month regardless of contractor activity

3. Contractor of Record (COR) - Variable Monthly Cost

• Monthly fee: 15% of the contractor's monthly invoice with a minimum of $325 per contractor per month, whichever is higher
  • Examples:
    ◦ If a contractor is paid $2,000 per month (15% = $300), the fee would be $325 (the minimum)
    ◦ If a contractor is paid $4,000 per month (15% = $600), the fee would be $600
• When you're billed: The COR fee is applied to each contractor's monthly payment.
  Minimum pricing applies for any active COR contractor on the platform, regardless of whether they raise an invoice during the month or not. As long as they have an active Contractor Services Agreement (CSA), they are considered to be billable.
• Contract relationship: Unlike CM/CM+, with COR the contract is between Remote and the contractor, not between your company and the contractor.
  
  

How Prorated Billing Works

If you onboard a contractor or upgrade to CM+ mid-month, we'll calculate your first charge fairly:

• We count the remaining days in the month
• Divide by the total days in the month
• You only pay for the time you actually use
