Personio EOR, Powered by Remote
At Remote, we are committed to making global employment simple and accessible. We are proud to partner with Personio to power their Employer of Record (EOR) solution, designed to streamline global hiring directly within the Personio platform.
This article offers a detailed overview of Personio EOR, powered by Remote, including its benefits, how it works, and support channels.
An Employer of Record (EOR) enables companies to hire and employ talent in countries where they don't have a legal entity. The EOR acts as a legal employer on your behalf, handling compliance, payroll, taxes, and benefits—while you manage day-to-day work and performance of your employee.
Opting for an EOR is for you if you want to:
- Hire internationally without setting up a local entity
- Rapidly expand into new markets
- Reduce legal and financial risk in international employment
In this case, Remote is the legal employer while Personio maintains operational oversight of the employees.
Important Note: Personio EOR, powered by Remote is a Personio product. If you are interested in purchasing or learning more about the Personio EOR service, please contact your Personio representative.
By combining Remote's international employment infrastructure with Personio's HR capabilities, Personio EOR offers several key advantages:
- Hire globally in nearly 90+ countries without setting up legal entities.
- Fast onboarding of international talent directly through Personio's platform.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations across diverse markets.
- Cost and time efficiency by letting Personio and Remote manage legal, HR, payroll, and other complexities.
- Eligible Personio customers can access Remote through an embedded Magic Link from within their Personio dashboard.
- Remote-managed employees are visible in Personio, enabling centralized tracking and administration alongside your direct hires.
- Contracts, onboarding, and employee data are synced between both platforms for a smooth and unified experience. While employers manage their EOR employees and related information within their Personio account, the hired employee will go through the Remote platform for their onboarding, payroll, benefits, and ongoing HR support.
