What is ThanksBen?

ThanksBEN is a global benefits platform that allows team members to manage different types of benefits, including Health (through Allianz) and Perks such as Wellness and Lifestyle benefits.

Available via desktop and mobile app, ThanksBEN provides an intuitive way for team members to access and personalize their benefits, manage their Wellness Benefit Wallet balances, add dependents, and receive support directly from the ThanksBEN team. 

During your benefits enrollment, you will receive an email from ThanksBEN to set up your account on the platform.

Enrolment Process

The email could end up in your spam, so it's important to check there as well. Once you've been given the opportunity to enrol in the plan, there is a 30-day enrolment window. Once this has passed, the enrolment window will be closed and you’ll need to wait until the group renewal in May of the following year to join or add any dependent to the policy. This is a requirement to avoid people from subscribing to the coverage only when they plan to use it.

Review your benefit information

Once you have logged-in, head to the benefit section to access information on the specific benefit that is offered to you. You will find an overview section with important information about the benefit, as well as linked policy documents. Make sure you review them to familiarise yourself with the benefit.

Note: Individual upgrades to the benefit plan are not possible. You can only enroll in the plan selected by your employer.

 

Adding dependents

To add a dependant, navigate to the medical insurance benefit, and find the 'Dependants' section. Click 'Add new dependant', fill in the required information, and save changes. Tick the checkbox next to the dependant's name and save changes to include them in your policy. Ensure all information is correct to avoid delays, and add dependants within the 30-day enrolment window. Dependants will be covered under your policy number.

Opting-out of the benefit

If you wish to opt-out of a benefit, navigate to the relevant benefit. Click the green 'Opt-out' button and confirm changes. If the button is absent, the opt-out window is likely closed and will reopen during the renewal period.
