Remote now allows you to manage multiple legal entities from a single account, eliminating the need to create separate accounts for each entity.
How to add a legal entity
- From the Company settings, go to the Legal entities page.
- To add a legal entity, click on Add new entity.
- Fill out the details of your legal entity, then click on Continue.
- Confirm the details have been filled out correctly, then click on Create entity.
- Once an entity has been created, you can edit your entity details from the Legal entities page.
How to change an employee's managing entity
1. From the employee’s profile, go to the Job section.
2. Click on the Edit button of the entity type.
3. Choose the entity you want this employee to be assigned to then click on Save.
Note: Customers are currently able to edit only the Managing Entity of an employee. We are working to extend this functionality to include the Billing Entity in the near future.
