Before you begin, please have the following information ready:

  • Your personal details and a valid photo ID
  • Letter of authorization (if you're not a legal representative of the company)
  • Company name, address, and registration number
  • Names and birthdates for all directors
  • Details of all owners (UBOs)
  • A short description of your business activities

Completing the verification steps usually takes 15 minutes. Your progress is saved automatically: you can pause and come back at any time.

Step 1: Review the setup prompt

Once your legal entity is set up, we’ll notify you that it’s time to verify through:

  • An email reminder
  • A to-do item on your dashboard
  • A business verification prompt in your Legal Entity section

Step 2: Submit your personal information

If you’re completing the verification, please provide:

  • Your full legal name (as shown on your photo ID)
  • Your personal contact information
  • A letter of authorization, if you’re not the company’s legal representative

Step 3: Provide company information

You’ll be asked to enter:

  • Legal company name
  • Business address
  • Company registration number

Step 4: Add director and owner details

For each company director and ultimate beneficial owner (UBO), please include:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Country of residence
  • Ownership or control details

Note: A UBO is anyone who directly or indirectly owns or controls more than 25% of the company. If no one meets this threshold, list the individuals with significant control or decision-making power, such as the CEO or senior managing director.

Step 5: Select your business activity

Choose the option that best describes your company’s primary business area from the dropdown menu.

Step 6: Verify your identity

To finish, you’ll verify your identity through our trusted partner. You’ll need to show a valid government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license.

Make sure the name on your ID matches the name you entered in step 2.

Step 7: Submit and wait for confirmation

Once you submit your details, our Compliance Team will review your information. If anything needs clarification, we’ll reach out to you.

After approval:

  • You’ll be able to add a payment method
  • You can mark your employees (Payroll product) or contractors (Contractor Management or Contractor Management Plus) as trusted beneficiaries to start sending payments through RPS.
