[Employee] How to activate your Remote Expenses Card

Remote Expenses Card is currently in beta. We're actively improving the experience based on feedback from our early users, so some features and workflows may change over time.

Learn how to activate your Remote Expenses Card and start using it for approved business expenses.

Your company admin must assign a card to you before you can activate it.

Note: Card management is available in the Remote mobile app only.

When a card is assigned to you, you'll receive:

  • An email notification
  • An action item in your Remote account

To activate the card:

  1. Follow the invitation link from your email of Remote account
  2. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions

Acceptance is required before your card can be activated.

Once these steps are complete, the card is activated immediately, and you can start using it. Add it to your digital wallet (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) or use the card details to make online payments.

Frequently asked questions

Can I activate my card on the web?

No. Card activation and management are available in the Remote mobile app only.

Can I use my card before activation is complete?

No. Your card must be activated before it can be used.
