What changes does Stripe Connect bring for the employer?

We’ve introduced Stripe Connect because this will allow us to offer features that make the overall experience delightful for both the contractor and the employer.

Benefits to Employers

• The overall time from pay-in (receiving funds from the customer) to pay-out (transferring funds to the contractor) will be quicker. This is because we will automate a lot more of the contractor payments flow.
• In the future, we will be able to support direct debit schemes for other popular currencies such as CAD, GBP and AUD.
• More transparency and better visibility over payment status, which will allow contractors to anticipate when they’ll receive the funds in their account.
