Contract amendments for employees hired through your entity

Customers who hire employees through their entity and use our Payroll product can now modify these employees' contracts on the Remote platform. These changes made are reflected in payroll via the Adjustments tab. This feature allows for self-service updates without requiring Remote's approval.

How to edit a Payroll employee's contract

  1. From the employee's profile, go to the Job tab and scroll down to the Contract details section.
  2. Click on Edit and make changes to the Payroll employee's contract. 
  3. Choose the effective date for the contract amendment changes.
  4. Once you've made the necessary changes, click on Save changes.

View contract amendments

  1. Under the Contract details section, you have the Contract updates section that outlines the changes made to the Payroll employee's contract.
  2. From this section, you can choose to View details or Delete the contract amendments made. You cannot make edits to the contract amendments already saved.
