When you create a customized role, you can always edit what permissions this role has and what information such a user has access to. With our template company user roles, you cannot adjust the user's permissions or what information they have access to.

To edit the permissions of a customized role:

  1. Go to the Company settings tab, then click on User roles and permissions.
  2. Find the customized role you want to edit, click on the three dots icon, then choose Edit permissions.

  3. Make the necessary changes, then click on Save role.
    Note:
Under the People section, you can give a custom role access to all team members' information or restrict access to sensitive data

If the information a user can access is limited to their direct reports, remember to assign the specific direct reports to such a user.
