Immigration Guidance for Relocation is a service that supports HR professionals in managing international hiring and employee relocations. It is particularly crucial for non-resident candidates or when planning strategic relocations.
This service is for our existing customers and is intended for situations where a customer has:
- A new hire who does not currently live in the country where they will be employed, or
- An existing employee already hired through Remote who the customer wishes to relocate to a different country.
It does not cover cases where employees already have legal residency and a right to work in the country. For those cases, please refer to Pre-Employment Eligibility.
The service includes a thorough analysis by Remote to assess immigration options. It evaluates potential pathways to legal residency or work authorization, estimates immigration timelines, outlines specific obligations for both the employer and employee, calculates relocation costs, and identifies potential risks.
With Immigration Guidance, organizations can make informed decisions about international relocations. The service helps support compliance with immigration laws, reduces complexity, and supports effective global workforce management aligned with strategic business goals.
