Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is a security measure that protects your account and sensitive data. It's like adding an extra lock to your door.
Why do I need SCA?
SCA is a security measure designed to protect your sensitive when you use Remote. By requiring you to verify your identity with two or more pieces of information, SCA makes it much harder for unauthorized individuals to access your account and sensitive data.
How does SCA work?
To use SCA, you'll need to set up two-factor authentication (2FA). This means you'll need to provide two pieces of information to log in, a password and a two-factor authentication code using apps like Google Authenticator, Authy or Microsoft Authenticator.

What are the specific SCA requirements?
To meet SCA standards, we've implemented the following security measures:
- Two-factor authentication (2FA): You'll need to use 2FA every time you log in.
- Account lockout: If you enter your password incorrectly five times in a row within 30 minutes, your account will be temporarily locked.
- 2FA for sensitive actions: You'll need to use 2FA for actions like changing your password or editing sensitive personal information.
- Automatic sign-out: If you're inactive for a certain period, you'll be automatically signed out of your account.
