How to invite an employee to self-onboard

When you add a new hire to the Remote platform, you have the option of filling out their employment details but inviting them to the platform at a later time by clicking on the Save as draft button. This moves the new hire's profile to the Onboarding tab of your dashboard. When you're ready to invite this employee to self-onboard: 

  1. Go to the Onboarding tab, click on the three dots icon and choose Finish and invite.



  2. This will lead you to the onboarding flow, showing an overview of the hire's employment details. You can edit these details before sending the invite.
  3. When you're ready to the invite them to the platform, click on Invite now.
  4. This will email the new hire instructions for getting started on Remote.
