Why am I unable to add a new hire?

It's easy to add employees or contractors via the Team or Onboarding tab on the platform. If, however, you're faced with a hiccup and can't add a new hire, there are a couple of possible explanations:

Overdue Unpaid Invoices

Your account might be frozen due to overdue unpaid invoices. In this case, all you need to do is settle these invoices. Once we receive your payments, your account will unfreeze automatically, allowing you to continue your hiring process. Account Under Review

Sometimes, your company account may be flagged for a routine review. This is part of our commitment to maintain the security and integrity of our platform.

While your account is under review, rest assured that you'll still have access to your Remote account. However, the capability to invite new hires will remain on hold until the conclusion of our review process.

Requirement to pay a reserve

Sometimes, your company may be required to pay a reserve before inviting employees to the platform. If this is the case, it will be clearly communicated while you are adding an Employee in the platform. 

If you've recently paid a reserve and find that you’re still unable to invite your employee, it’s possible that your payment is in the midst of processing. Once your reserve payment has been processed you will see it listed as paid in the platform, and you will be able to send out invites to the employees.
