As an EOR employee, when you decide to resign from your current position, there are certain legal requirements (which depend on your country of residence) that need to be followed. For example, the notice period that applies based on your employment agreement.
To enable Remote to process your resignation, you will first need to create a resignation letter and then submit a resignation request through the Remote platform. When you've successfully done this, the Customer will review the details of your request. Once they approve this, we will review your submission based on the legal requirements of your country of residence and, if we require additional information, we will reach out to you.

Each resignation is unique, as it depends on the country, your employment history, and the specific context. Therefore, we cannot provide a specific turnaround time for resignations. When filling out your resignation request, please note that the proposed resignation date will depend on the payroll cutoff for your country. This cutoff date sets a restriction on your resignation date to ensure there is sufficient time to process your resignation properly.
Resignation letter template
To make things easier for you, we've created a resignation letter template (which highlights the information we require to process your offboarding) you can follow when reaching out to us about ending your contract. You will need to save it as a DOC, DOCX, or PDF.
