What are smart fields vs. manually entered fields?
Smart fields
Smart fields are document placeholders that get populated automatically with the data in our platform. Some of them may get populated once the contractor completes their onboarding. For example, their passport number or type of identification document.
Manually-entered fields
Manually-entered fields are also document placeholders but they do NOT get populated automatically. You can create a manually-entered field for anything you need to populate that may be unique to each contractor, but you will have to fill them in manually when you create that contract.
