Why time tracking matters

As a salaried, non-exempt employee, tracking your hours accurately is crucial for ensuring compliance with local labor laws and calculating any overtime you may be eligible for. Overtime is automatically calculated by the system, so all you need to do is track your time properly.

How to track your hours

  1. From the Time tracking tab, you have the option to log your hours.
  2. When entering your work hours in Remote, you will see options for tracking regular hours, breaks, or on-call time.
  3. After entering your hours worked, select Regular hours. Our system automatically calculates overtime based on your state's rules.
    • For example, if your state requires overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 hours in a week, the system will flag those hours as overtime and calculate them accordingly.

  4. Once you’ve logged all your hours for the week, submit your timesheet.
