On Remote, an employee can cancel their time off request — both past and future time off requests. When they submit the cancel request, as the Customer, we send you a notification to let you know.
You will need to review and approve/decline the cancel request. To do this:
- Go to the
Time off
tab and click on the request that has its status asCancel requested
. - From the modal, choose
Approve cancel request
. - Once you've taken action, either of the two scenarios will happen:
- If you approve the time off cancel request, the status will change to
Canceled
. - If you decline the time off cancel request, the status will change to
Taken
.
- If you approve the time off cancel request, the status will change to
