How to approve/decline a canceled time off request

On Remote, an employee can cancel their time off request — both past and future time off requests. When they submit the cancel request, as the Customer, we send you a notification to let you know.

You will need to review and approve/decline the cancel request. To do this: 

  1. Go to the Time off tab and click on the request that has its status as Cancel requested.

  2.  From the modal, choose Approve cancel request

  3. Once you've taken action, either of the two scenarios will happen:
    • If you approve the time off cancel request, the status will change to Canceled.
    • If you decline the time off cancel request, the status will change to Taken.
