The Remote platform allows you to set your work schedule. If you have regular working hours, you can pre-fill your weekly timesheet, so you won’t have to manually enter your hours every week.
To set up you working hours:
- Log in to Remote.
- Go to the Time tracking tab, located on the left side of the page.
- Click on Customize time settings.
- You will now be in the Profile preferences tab, locate Timesheet default schedule.

On the right side, click on Edit.
- Set your schedule, on top of your work hours, make sure to include breaks, lunch, and other activities (if applicable).
- Click Save. All new timesheets will reflect the working hours you configured.
What if my hours are different on one day?
If your schedule changes for a specific day, you can manually adjust your hours for that day, even if you’ve enabled pre-filled timesheets. This lets you keep your regular schedule as a base while making small edits only when needed.
For example, if you started late on Tuesday or took a longer break, you can go into that day’s timesheet and update just those hours, there's no need to change your entire schedule.

Any working hours set in your contract will not be affected. This is only a Remote platform setting.
