Widget Support & Live Chat
This is only available on the Remote platform.
The help widget, accessible from your Remote dashboard, is available 24/7. It provides three support options:
- Get help using Remote's AI: Access AI-powered support for common inquiries.
- Chat with our team: 24/5 live chat support.
- Submit a support request
This ensures users have convenient access to support whenever they need it.
Accessing the help widget
To access the Help widget, log in to your Remote account and click on the Help icon at the bottom right of the page. A chat box will appear, and you can submit your inquiry there.
If you are logged into your account, a history of your conversations will be stored in the help widget, so you can check your past inquiries. This means you can close the widget and when you come back, pick up from where you left off. Currently, the help widget is not available on our mobile app, but it will be in the future.
Attaching screenshots
You can attach screenshots such as .jpg, .png and .webp images up to 20 MB to the chat. Please note that our AI system does not read images, so if needed, you can ask to be connected to a support agent.
Important: Do not upload documents containing personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, salaries, or other sensitive details in the chat. Instead, upload these documents to your profile under the Documents or Files tab and share the URL to that file with our support team.
You can reach out to us via help@remote.com. This is a direct line to our Customer Care team and we strive to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
When emailing our Customer Care team, please include as much detail as possible about the issue you are facing or the question you have. This will help our team to quickly understand and solve the problem.
Depending on what you need help with, our Customer Care team may need to get feedback from one of our specialist teams to get you an answer.
