On Remote, it is possible to edit a contractor agreement that has been sent out as long as the contractor hasn't signed it yet. There are two ways this can be done:
- Edit the contract of a contractor who has completed onboarding
- Edit the agreement of a contractor who is still onboarding
Edit the contract of a contractor who has completed onboarding
A contractor is considered to be onboarded after they have filled out their administrative information and completed the Know Your Customer (KYC) check. At this point, their profile will be moved from the Onboarding
tab to the Team
tab. If you have sent them their contractor agreement but they haven't signed it yet, it can still be edited. To edit their contractor agreement:
- Go to the
Team
tab. - Click on the contractor's profile you'd like to view.
- From the contractor's profile, click on
Edit agreement
. - You will be directed to the editor interface where you can make the necessary changes before clicking on
Save
.
Edit the agreement of a contractor who is still onboarding
When a contractor has been invited to Remote, their profile will be in the Onboarding
tab till they have completed onboarding. A contractor who received an invitation to join the Remote platform and has a pending contractor agreement, will have the Edit agreement
action available.
- Go to the
Onboarding
tab. - From the contractor overview page, click on the 3 dots icon and choose
Edit agreement
. - You will be directed to the editor interface where you can make the necessary changes before clicking on
Save and proceed
